My Lake Superior Northwoods is a program for landowners living in the Lake Superior Basin. Our work takes place in four counties within the basin: Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas and Iron Counties. As a partnership of over 20 public agencies and non-profit organizations, we want to help you care for your woods, wildlife, fields and waters!

My Lake Superior Northwoods is part of the Lake Superior Landscape Restoration Partnership, one of thirteen national projects initiated by the USDA Forest Service and Natural Resources Conservation Service in 2014. The vision is to improve water quality and supply, mitigate wildfire risk to communities and landowners, and to restore critical wildlife habitat for at-risk species in the Lake Superior basin of Wisconsin. Those species include Brook Trout, Golden-winged Warbler, Sharp-tailed Grouse and Kirtland's Warbler. My Lake Superior Northwoods is part of 28 Landscape Restoration Partnership projects in 25 states addressing critical conservation issues. My Lake Superior Northwoods is part of something bigger!
